Jaime Biggs is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing since 2021. She graduated from Duke University School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, and then returned to obtain her Master’s Degree in Nursing with a Psychiatric specialty across the lifespan.
Jaime believes in a patient-centered approach to care, working to treat each patient individually based on their specific needs and concerns. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Her practice settings have included inpatient, managing mental illness from depression to psychotic disorders, substance use disorders (with the ability to prescribe Medication Assisted Treatment like Suboxone) and patients with Alzheimer’s Disease/Dementia in Long-term care. In Jaime’s spare time she enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, exercising and focusing on self-care.
