Shamira Green is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Before joining One Behavioral Health, she gained experience caring for patients of all ages in various settings, including acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, and more. Shamira has a strong passion for helping others and has volunteered to provide healthcare services in various settings throughout her community. She brings compassionate care and drive to One Behavioral Health and all her patients.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Sam Houston State University as a collegiate athlete and later pursued nursing. Shamira earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from the College of the Mainland and a Bachelor of Science from Galen College of Nursing. Shamira graduated top of her class with Summa Cum Laude honors from Post University with a Master of Science in Nursing.
Shamira believes in using a collaborative approach that is patient-centered and individualized. She provides support, guidance, and education to address individual needs and enhance emotional well-being. Shamira enjoys reading, traveling, and getting together with friends and family in her spare time.
