He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who takes a holistic approach to care. He believes that in order to help a person, it is important to understand what makes the person as well as the environment they surround themselves with.
He has worked in the behavioral health field since 2012, with primary experience in crisis stabilization in community health and acute care inpatient hospitals. He is trained in CBT and EMDR and is actively working toward certification as a DBT therapist. He utilizes biosocial theory to conceptualize treatment. His interests include walking his dog when weather permits, learning about different spiritual beliefs across cultures, Muay Thai training, and weight training. He believes exercise is incredibly important to emotion regulation and that moving our bodies is crucial to emotional regulation.
