Psychological Testing

Finding the Answers to Your Health Concerns

Psychological testing, also known as psychometrics, is the systematic use of tests to evaluate psycho-physical behavior, skills, and concerns, and to develop psychological performance forecasts. Evaluators who are trained in psychology perform psychological examinations.

Psychological Testing

Symptoms of psychological disorders are constantly present, sometimes specific and sometimes not. To ensure an accurate diagnosis and improve the severity of the issue, One Behavioral provides comprehensive mental health examinations. Besides determining the cause of psychological symptoms and disorders, cognitive testing helps determine the best treatment.

Necessity

Particular psychological tests can assist a psychologist in ruling out certain disorders while narrowing in on a precise diagnosis. In-depth psychological testing and evaluation can take many hours and span multiple visits with a physician.
Each patient completes a series of standardized written exams, including questionnaires, ability rating lists, surveys, and checklists. One behavioral’s team of psychologists compiles a comprehensive evaluation, determines a diagnosis, and develops a treatment plan based on the results of the tests and interviews.
Sometimes, the testing clinician may refer the client to a specialist for treatment after making a diagnosis. One behavioral provides a variety of psychological assessments and testing.
